We use your data to provide convenient transportation options, recognize users in order to enhance and customer content, offers and advertisements, and send email.   And, we don’t rent or sell your personal data – to anyone.

You are in control.

Transactional Information

What does Greyhound collect:

Information including services requested or provided, date and time, origin and destination, promotion code, credit card number and personal information (name, email, address, IP address, phone number, etc.),

Why do we collect it?

This information is used for tax, financial and other administrative purposes to provide customer support, to prevent and detect fraud for analytical and operational purposes, and for marketing purposes to customize advertisements and offers.  We also use this information for the purpose of identifying users and delivering marketing to them on our behalf. 

We also engage a third-party partner for the purpose of identifying users and delivering to them marketing on our behalf (i.e. email). Our partners may collect information directly from your device, such as your IP address, device ID, and information about your browser or operating system; may combine personal and non-personal information about you with information from other sources; and may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser. This activity enables them to identify you to facilitate the delivery of marketing on our behalf. Road Reward Loyalty Profile

What does Greyhound collect:

We collect your name, login, password, address, birthdate, phone number, and/or email.  We also optionally collect payment information to enable a one-click check out and ask you to optionally provide why you travel, who you travel with and how many times you travel each year.

Why do we collect it?

Your information is used to enable your use of our services, to send you relevant and personalized communications, to verify your identity for account access and payments, and to improve our services.

When do we collect it?

When you create or update your account or select to store your payment information while booking a ticket via our website or mobile app.

Is the collection of the information optional?

Creation of a loyalty account is optional, but is required for Greyhound to enable certain services such as one-click payment. 

How long do we retain this information?

For as long as you maintain your loyalty account, unless otherwise required by law.

Due to limited transportation availability as a result of COVID-19 impacts, package delivery times may be extended. The majority of our services are sold as a space available transit expectation. Because of this it can take longer to depart origin and transfer locations. Schedule specific priority service continues to be offered for shorter distances.
